After reuniting back in 2010 for Matador Record’s 21st Anniversary celebration Guided By Voices are about to release their eighteenth studio album Class Clown Spots A UFO in June, returning to Austin this September at Emo’s East. Having already released an album earlier this year Guided By Voices continue to keep pace with their prolific output of records, with yet another release in 2012 already scheduled for later this year. Tonight the Emo’s Apocalypse continues with Kingdom of Suicide Lovers at Emo’s downtown. Formed in 2008 KOSL hit the ground running as they contributed to a Matador compilation for their first release, followed by a single on Golden Hour Records. Said to be at work on their debut full-length, expect KOSL to have some new music in tow along with their System Vs. Factory single which you can listen to below.
