11/29: Unearth, Chimaira, Skeletonwitch at Emo’s East

For over a decade Boston’s Unearth has paved the way for metal and hardcore bands in almost every respect imaginable. With an uncompromised approach to each album Unearth has steered clear of fleeting trends and continue to release some of the most progressive metal albums in recent history. Having toured with the likes of Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Terror, In Flames and Megadeath throughout their tenure they’ve earned the respect of the metal community in a way few have been able to match. As their fifth studio album Darkness in the Light was released on Metal Blade Records earlier this year, it not only features the coveted production of Killswitch Engage guitarist “Adam D” but Killswitch drummer Justin Foley also played on the entire record. Can you say brutal? Listen to “Eyes of Black” below and don’t miss Chimaira and Skeletonwitch open what just might be the most stacked show at Emo’s East yet.
